Stradbroke Schools

Selecting a school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent can make, particularly in the formative years when the foundations for your child's future development are established.

Stradbroke Schools are situated in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

Being one of the larger schools in the state, we have a large range of resources and choice to offer to our students, parents and community.

We offer specialist expertise in early years in the Junior Primary School and also in Middle and Upper Primary in the Primary School.
Our motto, “Excellence and Achievement in a Supportive School Environment”, epitomises our emphasis on students achieving their personal best within a learning environment which is both supportive and stimulating.

A wide range of curriculum and extra-curricula activities enables students to develop specific skills and talents and to experience individual success.

At Stradbroke we value our diversity and students from many cultural backgrounds learn and play together in an environment that promotes respect.

One of our major features is our participation in international education through the International Baccalaureate Programs – both the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and Primary Years Programs.

We are also ideally placed for the increasing enrolment of international students who wish to undertake their education in South Australia.

Our Primary School has a close relationship with neighbouring Secondary Schools including Norwood Morialta High School, Glenunga International High School and Charles Campbell College. These schools currently enrol international students from many countries including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Germany, South America, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Italy.

Stradbroke Schools are ideally situated away from main roads amongst tall gum trees adjacent to Fourth Creek. Koalas are regular visitors. Environmental Education programs also feature strongly.

Our picturesque location, wide range of extra-curricular activities and enviable facilities help complete the picture of our junior primary and a primary school, a school perfectly placed to guide keen young minds on their educational path.

We are proud of our schools and invite you to share with us, through this web site, what we have to offer.
